When is Bush going to fire Rove?
his story changed over the weekend and I'm sure a day from now it will change again to something like--"I didn't give her name, just her initials and who her husband is" Rove is getting paid by us now, he's no longer just a political advisor right? Time he's fired and jailed.

I didn't say her name.. EVER!!!

All I said was Wilsons wife.

Technically he is not lying in context to his statement when he said "I did not release her name" if this interpretation is correct.

7. It'd still be illegal.
You'd be hard-pressed to find a jury that wouldn't consider that more than enough information. After all, Wilson has only one wife, and therefore, Rove narrowed her identity down to exactly one possibility.

8. and i don't think the jury would apprciate the way Karl Rove did it
people aren't that stupid and they will clearly see that he did indeed reveal her identity.

Giving the reporter enough information to let them find out is still just as criminal

9. The only way Rove will be out...
is if he is indicted, or he falls on his own sword. Rove is Bush's right hand...and Shrub will not cut off his own right hand.

10. The ONLY reason I can think of is if it starts to affect Bush.
His numbers, and persists in affecting his numbers. That would really be the only reason I can imagine why he would fire Rove.

11. Uh, you think Chimpy would EVER admit a mistake?
It will be better if ChimpCo stands by Rove and gets covered in all the greasy fallout. Nothing like standing by a traitor to boost your poll numbers

12. i think he won't have a choice in the long run and he won't say it was a
mistake, they'll word it to make Bush like a victim.
