President Clinton among those present. This group was founded in 1999 by Tony Blair, former U.S. president Bill Clinton and German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder. Hosted by British Prime Minister Blair, delegates included leaders from 14 left-leaning countries. They discussed a wide range of policies during the two-day conference, including health and education. One of the things discussed concerned countries making pre-emptive strikes. Clinton---"We live in an interdependant world where it is impossible even for the United States to kill jail or occupy all of our adversaries and potential adversaries. Therefore politics is important." I don't have a link for this but I saw Clinton say it on TV.

Ive seen reports of this summit on Canadian TV but I doubt if this has been mentioned on any of the American networks, that is why I posted it.
