Those Larouche people are freaks
They called me today and tried to recruit me for their movement. I have no idea how they got my number. They were talking about how bankers were responsible for the London Attacks and that the world economy was crumbling. And when I told them I wasn't interested they just refused to get off of the phone. They kept trying to make me feel guilty for not joining. They said things that only people who don't care about poor people in Africa aren't intersted in signing up. According to them, the only people who aren't interested in signing up are drug addicts and criminals. They asked me again whether I was interested, and I told them no and then finally they hung up the phone. It took an hour and a half just to get them off of the phone.

20. They ARE a CULT.
That's what blew my mind when I started to research them. At first, I just saw them as an edgy fringe group of democrats, who really like this guy. But then I started to see all the cult patterns...I remember talking to one, who gave up his study as physicist in a good college to stand on the street collecting money for LaRoach...which is SOOOO cult. If a physicist joined the Dems, we'd pat him on the back and encourage hi to study alternative energy...If he joined the repubs, they'd pat him on the back and encourage him to work for a high paying place and donate to the party...Only a CULT would tell him to drop out and stand on a street corner making money for dear leader. Screw them.

I can't imagine staying on the phone over an hour with someone I didn't want to talk to. You know the world won't end if you just hang up, right?

12. They have this polite nature about them...
That makes you feel guilty if you hang up on them. Plus their looney tales are always good for a laugh. They just believe in it so much.

14. My wife and I
were accosted on the way out of the "Taste of Tacoma" a couple of weeks ago... I told them I was doing plenty myself to oppose Bush's plots and, after deflecting their talking points, I took one of their handouts.

I took one look at it and had to laugh. I can't believe they expect to reach anyone with this crap...it's dry as the Sahara...mostly about economics.

Idiots.

15. When my son get a call from a
telemarketer or politician, etc. He tells them he was just waiting for them to call, then after they start to talk, he lays the phone down and goes about what he was doing and after about 10 minutes, he goes back and hangs it up. Lets them waste their money on the phone call.

17. On clams
L ron Hubbard wrote a book called The History Of Man which claimed we evolved directly from clams and:

"The clam's big problem was that there was a conflict between the hinge that wanted to open and the hinge that wanted to close. It was easy to restimulate the engram caused by the defeat of the weaker hinge, Hubbard pronounced, by asking a pre-clear to imagine a clam on a beach opening and closing its shell very rapidly and at the same time making an opening and closing motion with thumb and forefinger. This gesture, he said, would upset large numbers of people.

'By the way,' he warned, 'your discussion of these incidents with the uninitiated in Scientology can cause havoc. Should you describe the "clam" to some one , you may restimulate it in him to the extent of causing severe jaw pain. Once such victim, after hearing about a clam death, could not use his jaws for three days.'"

19. I found that if you tell them that the only LaRouche runs over and
over again is because he uses the money donated to him as a salary. He knows he's too old to win, too weird to win, whatever, and this is the only way he can pay his mortgage. They tend to say "ok, thank you for your time" and hang up. Works everytime.

22. Plus LaRouche is a convicted felon.

Given the fact that felons can't vote, can a felon even BE the president?

23. 20 years ago, you could have said precisely the same thing..
and it would still be true. This guy has been around a long time. He's sort of the Dem's version of Moon. Notice, however that Dems treat him with the contempt he deserves, while the GOP prefers to place crowns on Moon's head and come to him on bended knee.

Yet another difference between Democrats and the GOP.

24. I just had an experience too
This gal called and started talking on and on about LaRouche being the main movement that will take Bush out. I found it shocking that I never heard of LaRouche before, but have been reading and following everything over the past few years. Anyway, I told her that everyone is calling for donations and I can hardly donate to all the organizations that call me. In other words, save her breath. She went on and on about their movement, and said I should spread the word and for $1 a day, they'd send me daily reports. I told her no, but if she would give me the website, I'd look into Lyndon LaRouche. Before she hung up, she again tried to confirm that I would buy the daily reports from her. I again said no. A week later, I got a package in the mail from her. I returned it unopened, and very disgusted.
