No disrespect intended to the families and friends of the those who lost loved ones today. May we please lay to rest that catch phrase? I knew it was bullshit the first time I heard one of those talking heads spouting that shit. It is basically a non-committal non-foreign policy for Bushbots that don't understand geopolitics. I don't see how anybody will able to say that with a straight face anymore after what happened today.

1. You got it! I posted this same thing on several other posts today.
I just hope the majority of Americans recognize that Shrub's plan isn't working! The World is NOT safer than it was in the past!!!!!

2. But to the BushBots ...
London is "over there"

They don't care who gets killed by terrorists - just as long as it isn't an American. :eyes:

4. We understand that.
But they don't. They will throw out whatever justification makes sense to them, even if it doesn't make sense to rational people. I'm willing to predict that the wingnuts will continue using that phrase as if the bombings in London never even happened.

6. You wish
The cunning sort will discretely ditch that stupid argument for a few days, then they'll puke it up all over again when the coast is clear, i.e., when some missing girl in Aruba pushed London bombs to the inside pages.

7. Well, it took London
to push Rove and the DSM back to page 99.

8. Especially when we're "fighting terra"
