Why? More of our jobs are going to China anyway.

If we're an ownership society, with free enterprise and all the other exuses behind the anti-american behavior they are engaging in, we should let them own the core instead of just the work. America's dead anyway.

A Chinese firm bought IBM's PC division (Lenovo)...

I'm happy for China that they're finally utilizing the fruits of the seeds we've been spitting at them for 32 years; evenr since Nixon's visit.

What say you?

1. I am very sad that Maytag is on the block
It spells the functional end of the small town Maytag is home to, Newton Iowa. I know a lot of folks there and it will hit them hard. However, as you say, that is the price of this ownership society that we seem to endorse and want to export.

6. I suppose none of these traitorous acts.
However, why fight back? That's treason too. We're already dead, so I'm just going to enjoy life while I can.

Peak oil.

The rich bastards who survive get to live on a poisoned planet anyway and nothing is immortal.

3. Agreed.
They're beating us at our own game. Can't complain about communism and then turn around and complain about capitalism.

7. Our government who said commies were bad allows the sell-off to commies.
There's a strange irony here... Of course, if I had a time machine and travelled to 1984, I doubt I'd be believed. Or any of us for that matter.
