Hey you stupid pigfucker
Edited on Wed Jun-29-05 11:28 AM by Horse with no Name
I have news for you.
"Bipartisanship" doesn't mean ramming every fucking thing down our throats that you want.
Our liberals in congress has given you 90% of what you want--yet you refuse to concede the other 10%.
What kind of bipartisanship is that asshole?
You speak of minority obstruction..yet it is really majority tyranny.
You can kiss my ass if you think that the Americans will ever be stupid enough to rally around the bloody flag of 911 again.
Keep dreaming!

3. The problem is that simpletons desperately want to believe his
lies. They desperately want to believe the young person in their family in Iraq will come home safely, now that the occupation is going well. They desperately want to believe their jobs are safe, that no more jobs and whole industries will go to India or China.

Yeah, they swallowed it all. It won't last long, though. He's fucking up too badly for his words to have any more than a temporary effect, kind of like a happy drunk. There's always going to be a hangover in the morning.

4. A-fucking men already.
Take your tyranny and shove it up your ass. If you want this war to succeed so bad, send your own kids into it and everyone else who's behind it. Let's not have any more delays on that.

 :argh: :banghead: :puke:

Let's get the whole show on the road, so Congress can do their job of prosecuting the ones who broke the law.

6. My father loves to rant about "tyrrany of the minority"
Of course in his mind, if 50.0000001 percent of the population were to vote to bake all kittens in ovens, it should be done. A hallmark of liberal (not librul) democracy is that the government protects the weaker segments of society against REAL tyrrany--of the majority. Such protections are designed to bring at least a hint of equality to a society that claims to be a collection of equals, and conservatives HATE that those they think beneath them could possibly become equals. Think about it. Even in the last 20 years our RW politicians still build walls to protect against the evil minorities.

--Newt and his "women bleed in their dirty parts" contention that women not be in combat.

--Perot and his speech to African-Americans calling African-Americans "you people"

--Countless tirades against filthy dirty AIDS infested queers that God "hates."

--Demands to keep those dark skinned Central Americans out of our land at gunpoint

--Calls for "crusades" against Muslims

The list goes on and on and on. We have to protect the right people against these "evil forces."

8. That's what bothers me the most. They expect "compromise" to be 1 way
We compromise.

Why don't they ever compromise.

Hell, the only reason he had to "concede" his private account nonsense is because his own party wouldn't even back it!

9. Maybe should all play along in this charade longer, it could help........
build poor little Georgie Porgies character

Babies cry." That's what your mother said, sighing, when she couldn't figure out what was making you scream after dinner. That's what you said when you couldn't get your own two-month-old to sleep at 3 a.m., even after hours of rocking, walking, singing, even pleading. Babies cry - that's just what they do.

Or is there more to it than that? Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior Barry Lester has spent much of his career proving what mothers have suspected all along: that there's a great deal more subtext to the crying of infants than non-mothers might imagine. By listening closely to the cries of infants and observing their mothers' reactions, Lester has expanded our understanding of how the youngest children grow and develop, as well as how parents begin to understand their offspring's capabilities and limitations. Working with some of the world's most prestigious clinicians, he has found that a mother's interpretation of her infant's cry can actually help predict the infant's intelligence and language ability.

Even more startling, Lester has begun to apply his findings to issues far beyond that of quieting a colicky baby. Using his analysis of the cries of babies whose mothers used cocaine, for example, he has begun changing the perception of so-called "cocaine babies." His recent work on the subject may in fact help prompt major changes in the legal and psychological treatment of cocaine-using parents and their children.

11. Got to be careful with those terms: majority and minority
Bush approval rating is sinking like the Titanic--down to 35%-40% (in news monopoly polls!). Doesn't represent the majority. Never did.

Dems blew Repubs away in new voter registration in 2004, nearly 60/40. New voters voted overwhelmingly for Kerry. Independent voters voted overwhelmingly for Kerry. Nader voters voted overwhelmingly for Kerry. Gore 2000 voters (who won the popular vote in 2000) voted overwhelmingly for Kerry. Who else is there? The phantom voters of Rove's "invisible" get out the vote campaign? Har, har.

This man may represent the horses and pigs on vast stretches of corporate land in Redville, but that's about all he represents. 60/40, my friends. That's the truth of it.

It's a damned lie of the Bush Cartel and their lapdog news media that, a) Democrats are the minority; and b) Democrats lost the 2004 election.

So, when the Democrats obstruct this radical rightwing agenda in Congress, they are speaking for the MAJORITY. And it is those who represent the MINORITY who don't have the "consent of the governed" and are oppressing us all.

14. A-men, its about god damn time.
Democrats ARE the majority and there is no fucking bullshit "50% of special america" is fundamentalists, there isn't even that many who LIVE in america or vote today either. There's one percentage and then increased totals everywhere by stupid machines and invisible votes. ALL over florida, ALL over Ohio, ALL over 6 states.

15. Hey! Don't call me stupid!
Couldn't resist.

But you're right. I think Bush has finally ridden the 9/11 pony once too often around the track. I think the MSM collectively rolled its eyes when it heard (five? six?) references to 9/11 in the speech last night. Even the milquetoast morning news shows aren't buying it.

And once you've lost Katie Couric, it's pretty much all over.

I don't know what Katie was up to this morning. I think I had GMA on this morning -- listening, but not watching -- and the anchor was being pretty blunt (respectful, yet blunt) with Sen. John McCain.

Arming the Left: Is the time now? --by Charles Southwell

As long as we pose no REAL threat to the powers-that-be, to what is shaping up into a dictatorship, we will continue to be ignored. Right now, we are ignored because we present no organized power to fight this onslaught of anti-democratic, totalitarian government that we are up against.
