THERE ARE NO TERRORISTS IN IRAQ: The best thing is to PULL OUT NOW.
I'm tired of hearing this Republican talking point ECHOED by the Democratic leadership.

Iraqis are attacking our soldiers because they don't want Iraq to become a U.S. Territory, which is where the Administration plans on taking it.

Pulling out of Iraq will
1. Stop getting U.S. Soldiers killed
2. Stop getting Iraqi's killed
3. Motivate the Iraqi's to build their own government
4. Stop any (if there is ANY) flow of foreign militants into the country (I don't believe this bullshit; no one has offered ANY proof that this is happening, and the credibility of the administration is at 0%)

The Administration will say STAYING is the ONLY CHOICE because
1. They want to build military bases and use Iraq as a control point in the middle east
2. They want to control the flow of oil to the world (from $30 to $60 a barrel, and we control it now; look at the stock market indexes of oil companies and defense contractors compared to the DOW since the war started)
3. They want to profit off of the war

The Administration will tell the American people we need to STAY because
1. We need to liberate the Iraqi people, we care about them and are obligated
2. We need to fight the terrorists over there (gee, if you care about the Iraqis, why are you filling their country with terrorists and turning their country into terrorist fly-paper)
3. We need to make the world safe from terrorism (the world was a lot safer before the Iraq war).

PULL OUT NOW is the only thing the Democratic Leadership should be SAYING as it is the FASTEST COURSE to stopping the FLOW OF BLOOD and minimizing any further DAMAGE.

SPREAD THE WORD!!!

7. Where is the evidence
That says foreigners (other than the U.S.) are invading Iraq?

WE did NOT bring it on them. George W. Bush and his cabal brought it on them. WE have to pick up the pieces, WE have to have our sons and daughters getting their ARMS, LEGS, HEADS blown off, and FOR WHAT?

There was NO JUSTIFICATION for this war. There WERE NO WMDs, Iraq was NOT AN IMMINENT THREAT, and they had NOTHING to do with 911. And you can no longer BLAME THE INTELLIGENCE, because it turns out, the Administration was FIXING THE INTEL to get Congress and the U.N. to approve it (which the U.N. never did).

Oil companies (all of them) and defense contractors have seen their stock prices go up nearly 200% since the beginning of the war, while the DOW has stagnated... only companies the administration officials are heavily invested in are doing well... WHY?

Oh, and welcome to DU.

5. I won't say there are no terrorists in Iraq
innocent civilians have been killed by suicide bombers. They were aiming to kill as many people as possible.

As for a solution...I honestly don't know. I don't know if things would get better by an immediately pullout or staying. It's a complicated question for me.

6. those that target civillians are terrorists
those that target soldiers or officials are either allies or enemies, depending on your perspective

We are in the middle of a civil war which we cannot win

8. Would you say that the North and South were terrorists
During the U.S. Civil war?

Our soldiers are certainly killing enough civilians in Iraq... over 100,000 civilians have been killed by the U.S.... that's far more than any Iraqi militants have killed during this war.
