Is the Tin Man In the Hospital or NOT?!

Either he is in or he is out.

Is he still in Vail for his "football injury?"

Where is that EVIL vice president Waldo?

1. Brad on Raw Radio said that one hospital employee
unintentionally confirmed that Cheney had been in the hospital by answering someone's question about Cheney saying 'that he has already left' - do you think there is more to the story?

3. I don't get it.

Yesterday it was all about his little ole knee.

You would think they would have had a photo op with him coming out of the hospital and throwing the crutches in the trash can.

It would be a good chance to get some Superman publicity.

Now seems to be a total news blackout.

4. From Arianna Huffington:
Edited on Sun Jun-26-05 09:23 PM by IndyOp
"As you may know by now, we reported here on Friday that Vice President Dick Cheney had visited the cardiac unit at the Vail Valley Medical Center.

After the hospital denied the vice president had been there at all, Cheney’s office put out the story, swallowed whole by the AP, that he had simply gone for a routine visit to orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Richard Steadman.

<snip>

Finally, sources close to Dr. Jack Eck, whom the vice president saw in the cardiac unit, were acknowledging yesterday in Vail that he had been to the cardiac unit (the AP has still not updated its story to include this) but AFTER he had seen Dr. Steadman, and that he had had a prophylactic EKG while he was there.

Wow. So now in the space of 48 hours, we have three stories: First, denial that Cheney was ever at the hospital. Second, an acknowledgement that he was at the hospital after all, but only for an old knee injury. Third, that after he was checked for the knee injury, he was taken to the cardiac unit to have an EKG, but only prophylactically.

<snip>

5. It is important that we know!

What is the big secret?
It will only make it worse when it is finally out.

They LIE all the time, it is a horror story.

7. Knowing how the Repukes play politics...
it's my bet that the vultures are already circling the carcass, all vying to be Dick's replacement, so that he/she will have the inside track to the nomination in 2008.

Wonder who it will be? RW or Moderate?
