Seattle/KVI Radio: Rusty Humphries replacing Rush Limbaugh.

John Carlson announced tonight that a local Rusty Humphries show will be replacing the 9-12 am Rush show. He said that it was because of politics in another place or something like that.

I have never heard Rusty Humphries so I don't know whether he is worse or better than Rush Limbaugh but I couldn't help but wonder if perhaps Rush was not doing too well here. Just maybe people are catching on to his hateful lies and distortions.

I thought I heard that and got really depressed. It seems like now we have two or three rightwing am stations and only one (KIRO) that has some moderates/liberals.

I have a small business. This happened last week or so - she called me before the store opened and told me about their great station. I almost choked on my tea. I had an electrician and an early customer in the store, so I didn't say what I really wanted to ("Fuck off and die, Nazi pig") but I did laugh and tell her that it certainly wasn't my style, and I asked her if she was getting a lot of takers among female small business owners. She just mumbled, fumbled and I hung up.
