He could have more credit with them if he's a republican and could show other republicans what's going on. Also a guy on the show said that Voinovich voted with us on Bolton. Jeanane thinks the documents that they won't give up is about the intelligence with Iraq, Syria, bugging the UN and other items like that and maybe outing Valerie Plame. He may seriously purged himself because he had nothing at all to do with Syria. So why else would the state department not release the info? They did on Cuba and other matters. There's something there that contridicted Bolton's testimony on oath. Steve (the guy talking on Bolton) thinks that it's fascinating that Frist didn't vote on colture this time and this means it'll take a few days after the announcement on the vote. The White House may be planning a recess appointment or drawing him out. The recess appointment will be the first time in twenty years that such an appointment will have been made in less then ten days. We'll be sending someone to the United Nations who doesn't recieve to be legtiment because he didn't receive confirmation with the Senate. They've done this before with judges. It's their right to do it but he wants moderates and progressives to show what the white house is doing. When you're sending someone to represent the US and can't be confirmed by the founding fathers plans on how to do things it sends a message on who Bolton is. The office of the presidency is also not legetiment. Both 2000 and 2004 aren't legit if they do this. Frist and McCain did a press conference yesterday and Frist said we hadn't had a rep in the UN for 200 days. We've had this democrazation in Europe, Egypt, Iraq and Ukraine and it's sad we haven't had representation. We've done very well without Bolton so why screw it up?
