Dominici and Bingaman(?) deny the 4 guys from enron clause...

in the new energy bill on C-SPAN, though they did say it may have been in the house version. This is the clause, discussed here, and a few other Liberal websites, that detailed a windfall of 100 million to the 4 guys. Is it true? And if so, we need to hammer this into their heads, until they speak the truth on the issue!

1. This energy bill is a bunch of pork anyway (dems and republicans equally)

God forbid that this country has a national energy policy.

The principle seems to be: let everybody get a piece of the cake, but avoid to take a stand for what is right.

I cannot think of a better way to get support for killing it, and getting a more sensible bill passed, than letting the American people know that they were trying to give money to the crooks of enron. The chimp announcing that Jesus himself, supports the bill, would not be able to save it then.

The problem is that most Dems do not want to kill it as long as there is money in it for their State.
