Anybody hear about the damage? I can't get a hold of my friend in San Fran.

5. San Fran here...didn't feel a thing
I believe it was off the coast some distance and they've issued a Tsunami warning for the entire West Coast, which may be routine.

24. They called it off. I went out to look and the streetcar is running
the hotels are open -- one restaurant closed.

But, this is California. We don't know if this is the beginning or the end. So, how do they know to call off the warning? There was just a 7.3 aftershock. :(

That's not "centered" If it was centered in Crescent City the town would be decimated and it would be all over the news.

...why is the MSM NOT picking this up. There's Lou Dobbs, yammering away, as usual. Could they break in and give an update? Hell no! The earthquake isn't a celebrity driving an SUV. Damn.

Doesn't mean there will be any, but that is what they are warning

7.0 magnitude, according to them; epicenter offshore near Eureka.
