MSNBC covers the lack of mainstream media coverage of Downing Minutes

The Downing Street Memo

Viewer e-mails raised the Downing Street Memo and the lack of mainstream media coverage over it.

'Connected Coast to Coast with Ron Reagan and Monica Crowley' tackled this in their 5 p.m. ET hour:

THERE IS A VIDEO LINK ON THE SITE

June 6: Most of the talk about the Downing Street Memo is taking place on the Internet. But with Tony Blair due to meet with President Bush Tuesday, the bloggers are hammering at some of the things the rest of the media is slow to see. Connected talks to Jeb Babbin and Con Coughlin.

3. Now let's see if I understand this
They are covering the LACK OF COVERAGE? What the hell kind of twisted crap is that? Just cover the damn minutes already! If they do stories on the actual document then they won't have to worry about others not covering it. I'm not all that smart about the media, but this one seems logical. COVER THE DAMN STORY!

4. It's a way of covering the story...
...without actually covering the story so that they can say that they covered the story. Get it? It's pretty fucked up.

6. it seems to me the only coverage in the MSM
is extemely minimal and focused not on the minutes and the fact that the little bushturd committed treason, but on how the MSM isn't covering the minutes.
