Left a freeper stammering today

This freeper I know has been spouting the typical GOP talking points at me for years. Anytime I ever showed him some facts, I was always told they were just "lefty liars". This guy even told me once that the PNAC document was actually created by liberals to make the Bush administration look bad. Well today I showed him this:

These are the results of the investigation into Abu Grahib. In the U.S. governments own words. I pointed him to this section:

"REGARDING PART ONE OF THE INVESTIGATION, I MAKE THE FOLLOWING SPECIFIC FINDINGS OF FACT"
Scroll down to #6 and read some of the findings. I found 6-K to be particularly interesting.

"(S) A male MP guard having sex with a female
detainee;"

I asked him if he thought the female Iraqi prisoners were willingly having sex with the MP's... He walked away stammering, but I could see by the look in his eyes that I finally got him. Later I asked him to never bring up Saddams "rape rooms" to me again...

2. Why hasn't this been reported?

I didn't even know they have female detainees or I never thought about it. I don't want to make light of what the other detainees have been through but this is an outrage! Now the US is allowing their soldiers to rape women. Where is this man and was he charged? and if not WHY NOT?

5. It has been reported.

The released pictures of Abu Grahib torture was just the tip of the iceberg. When congress viewed all of the pictures, most of the real horrors were made public. Even congressional republicans were stunned and horrified. The freeper types, however, chose to disregard the reports and focus only on the released photos.

8. Supposedly the ACLU is getting more

of these pictures released. I've heard reports that some Congressmen and women were throwing up after seeing the pictures. I'm betting that if the pictures are released it will take Hannity, Limbaugh, and the rest of them about 5 seconds to condemn the ACLU and the rest of the liberals, and the "lefty media" for only showing the bad side of the military...

If you visit http://www.informationclearinghouse.info watch the documentary "Losing Hearts & Minds." It's from an Australian reporter who did a report on Guntanamo and Abu Grhaib and what goes on there. It shows how women, men and even CHILDREN are in these prision's and it shows one family who had a female member in there and she was raped. They ended up killing her because she couldn't be married off. It was so sad and horrible. :cry:

F911, his response? It's all lies and half-truths. And that clip of Bush claiming that the "rich" are his base was "modified" to make him look bad :eyes: Remember this is a guy who said the PNAC was a liberal invention to get Bush. I was pretty happy with myself nailing him today. Thanks for that info clearing house link. From now on I am only going to use U.S. Government approved documents in my arguements with freepers. That seems to be the only thing they understand. If it doesn't come from the White House, it's all lies :eyes:
