You know if I had the pain tolerance I would really like to post on Free Republic a simple question. If you guys want this war why wont you donate any of your blood and treasure to the cause. If I have to hear the culture of life crowd say embryos should be protected because they are innocent life I may have to hurl. I think this Bush Cartel should be known ad the do as we say not as we do administration.
Supporting the troops is just more than flying your flag and putting a magnet on your car people! But do I see them donating to purple heart veterans, or spending time at the va no. Do I see them making care packages or buying phone cards no. But what do I see the great chicken hawks do? They sit back and drink a beer and praise aries and death all the while insulting those of us who want peace. I just want to close by saying I really really miss peace and reason Anyhow thats my rant for the day. Thanks for listening and have a happy weekend everyone.

The three or four people who actually do send gifts or cards or who are serving currently would immediatly slam into you, effectively letting the 90% who don't off the hook.

Its just so frustrating. The first thing I did when I found out I could drive anymore was to donate my car to purple heart. I am proud of that fact and still got the reciept. It just gets on my nerves that they can question you about patriotism and god and get away with it. Ah well sorry just a little down with the cause right now.

I'm convinced that this is an extremely effective tool. But whether it's effective engendering change or merely shame and denial is the question.

I wish I could be a fly on the wall though to see if people are reacting. I thought of leaving them on windshields but I really hate it when people do that with flyers so I haven't done it. Would be nice to put them on cars that got W stickers all over and the ribbons and flags and just sit in the car and wait for them to come back.
