Christo-zombie DeLay describes "dismemberment" of an embryo
Edited on Wed May-25-05 07:12 AM by Mr_Spock
Talk about inflamed rhetoric to his mass of Christo-zombies - he described the "dismemberment" and "destruction of life" of an embryo that could be used to make a human life. Does anybody know the percentage of unwanted embryos that end up being implanted into a non-related mother versus how many are simply destroyed? Either way, the insane rhetoric the Christonutjobs are using is sickening - they really have no shame do they? :grr:

edited - spellchecker missed typo?

1. Don't know the stats, but the frozen embryo's are 4 cell......
blastocytes. How can you dismember a 4 cell organism? geez.

8. They even LIE about the development stages
I did a google search. I went on a few sites to search this. The Right to Life sites were showing pictures of development. At 3-4 days old they were showing it developing a head and an elongated body. As the mother of two kids, who saw many pictures in my doctor's office, I knew that was clearly wrong.

So I went on a strictly neutral site; guide to your baby's development for pregnant mothers. It showed pictures up to 3 months, beginning on a day by day basis. What the Right to Life site was claiming was a 3 to 4 day old embryo (actually a blastocyst or PRE-embryo) was in actuality a 4 to 6 WEEKS old embryo.

Do these people really think we are that stupid? They are trying to rewrite science.

14. You tie each cell to a mule, and drive them apart
until it repents and admits it's a witch.

Uh, I think.

15. My point exactly
His rhetoric is so blatantly wrong - it is just a vile attempt to inflame his Christo-fascist zombie brigade. How can such freaks be voted into office?

2. "Well, first you pierce open the membrane surrounding the innocent cell
representing the origin of life. Then a sharp daggerlike needle is pushed violently into the core of this cell. Then its contents are destroyed by the forced injection of foreign matter into its essence. And then this cell starts to multiply with this new science fiction DNA blueprint. Before it is allowed to be implanted in a warm loving uterus of a mother, it is torn apart into sections and the baby, I mean the embryo, experiences inhuman pain unlike anything imaginable and is destroyed. And the pieces of its cells are sold to the highest bidder."

Maybe something like this, Mr. DeLay?

3. If I were to guess, it would be a high percentage, perhaps 95%..
...even as high as 99,9%. Think of the number of sperm cells that are also discarded as well as the number of unfertilized eggs that go into the process of creating those embryos.

16. Only 80 of 400,000 unwanted embryo's have been implanted
Bush exploiting those children to make a point about "exploiting" embryo's is beyond crazy.

17. Uhmmm, 80 out of 400,000 so 399,920 fertilized embryos are...
...senselessly murdered according to George W. Bush. What does shrub want, 399,920 surrogate mothers to create a Bushitler youth movement?

11. I'm Shocked At DU
Did it take this far down the thread to say this:

"Too bad it wasn't his he was describing"...

Carry On...

BTW...reminds me of humorist Chris Rush in a 70's stand-up routine. He speaks about masturbation and how the nuns in his Catholic School told him every time he choked the chicken he was killing millions of potential Christians. Rush's reply..."I was the Eichmann of my block..."

12. Should all these embryos be forced into the wombs of unwilling women?
if they have a right to life, and that right outweighs my right to control over my body, then are they going to implant me with an embryo I don't want?
