Bu*h: "My job is to pick people who will interpret the Constitution....."
And Priscilla Owen and Janice Rogers will interpret the Constitution exactly how Bush wants it interpreted.

"My job is to pick people who will interpret the Constitution, not use the bench from which to write laws," Bush said from the White House. "And I expect them to get an up or down vote, that's what I expect. And I think the American people expect that as well people ought to have a fair hearing and they ought to get an up-or-down vote on the floor."

1. Did Barbara Bush quiz him with flash cards that said "up or down vote"

How many times in every speech do they say that? If I hear that poll tested phrase again I'm going to vomit. They think people are that stupid. Say the same agreeable phrase over and over again and you can fuck them however you want.

8. BRAWWWK! UP OR DOWN VOTE. BRAWWWK!
Edited on Tue May-24-05 10:42 AM by CottonBear
The sheeple will hear that phrase over and over and over and over and over again. The sheeple will not have to understand the real issues being discussed as long as they remember and "parrot" that phrase over and over and over...

what an asshole

but you have said it much more refined, much more brilliantly, much more beautifully descriptive than i could have.

cheers to you! :toast:

edited to add:

your eloquent, true, and perfect description of bush's job would look great in any cafepress mug, t-shirt, magnet, button, etc.

i would definitely buy a mug which had your job description of bush.

3. F*ck you, Bush!
You lied us into war and sat idly by while 3,000 Americans were killed.

Your credibility is shot!

5. . . . and Bush interprets the Constitution in such a way . . .
. . . that puts the President above the law.

. . . eliminates checks and balances where it involves the executive branch.

. . . that two clauses seperating church and state do not mean what they say.

. . . that gives artificial persons more rights than real people.

7. Bush has been listening to Limbaugh too long.
"Judicial activism" has been a limbaugh whine for a long time. I wonder who is getting directions from whom?

The ass-hat in the white house seems to quote hate radio daily.
