Justifying the unjustifiable.

Well, looks like its Rubberstamp Day.

Like a small child, McConnell is childishly crying "they did it first." And like a small child, he's not being truthful, he's lying.

Considering that, in effect, they're trying to kill our two party system you have to wonder why any republican would want to make himself visible right now. You would think they would be ashamed of themselves. But instead they get in front of a camera, stretch the truth until the truth is no longer recognizable, and try to kill our democracy in front of our eyes.

I suppose we should thank them for providing us with absolute proof that power corrupts and is addictive, but I really don't feel grateful...

1. Yeah and this other asshat just said
that the minority of one part of the government should not be able to dictate what happens in another part of the government?
Uhh...when the minority represents the majority of the country...how can they say that with a straight face?

Its really clear that they won't be satisfied till they have a one party government.

Watching them on the tv is like seeing a bunch of cockroaches or maybe a nest of snakes.

2. Water on Stone, I'm thinking
rather than "Nibble away a bit at a time so no one can tell."

Rove thinks this 'nibble' approach blinds the sheeple, so that his arrogance and violence and greed are invisible.

To me, his approach has the "Water on Stone" effect that happens when you are trying to steal a country rather than a baked good. A nation doesn't disappear like a cookie or a piece of cheese ( sorry - can't resist the references to rodents' tidbits!).

A strong nation is like a rock, that only gives under sudden intense force or slow steady droplets interminably falling on the same spots.

The depression their steady "drip" has caused is becoming a gaping hole. I look forward to the day we all wake up and push them into it.

4. If we don't wake up real soon, its going to be too late.

We're only a couple of steps away from a dictatorship.
