Santorum calling Dems Nazis (in Con Idiots this week)

For my first thread, I've decided to waste this occasion to comment, doesn't he know Godwin's law of argument?

Once someone invokes Nazis in a non-WWII/Holocaust/genocide/etc. context for a comparison, they automatically lose the argument.

i.e. Bush kills lots of people and tries to institute fascist totalitarianism = the comparison may be justified, but still seems like hyperbole when there's so many more fun things we could say.
but: Santorum says we're Nazis for trying to use procedure to stop fascism, especially with such a poor defense = he loses.
