More words from George Galloway
....I predicted before the war that Iraq would be the political death of Tony Blair, and it is now almost Shakespearean how the pain from his self-inflicted wounds is written across his face. It is as if he is physically diminishing before our eyes as his authority bleeds into the sands of Iraq.
>>>>snip
That Iraq was lynched by Bush and Blair has become plain as a pikestaff. Take the saving of Private Jessica. Said at first to have been shot and held hostage by Iraqi doctors, and now revealed to have been in their care after a road traffic accident, her story serves as a metaphor for the mendacity so deep and treacly-black it might be an oil sump: from the 45-minute warning to the banks of the Niger and the sweepings of the internet floor.
>>>>snip
In Vietnam, the Americans installed a succession of puppet governments in whose name they could claim to be fighting. Though as bereft of electoral legitimacy as a Jeb Bush Floridian plebiscite, the Vietnamese juntas had a social base. Yesterday's jokers, the "Iraqi Governing Council" - handpicked by Iraq's US governor, Paul Bremer - make South Vietnam's General Thieu look like an authentic national leader. Without hundreds of thousands of foreign troops, they would be swept away in a gale of derision.

5. Galloway sure knows how to call a spade a spade in descriptive
language. I laugh at the thoughts of Bush* ever talking like Galloway! It was great to see him on C-Span again today.

It's surprising how many people still haven't seen or heard of Galloway. Come to think of it...it isn't surprising with our MSM which which has Bush's grubby paws in their back pocket.

4. Mr. Galloway is a wonderful spokesman for the anti-war movement
No shrinking violet he.

He pounds on the mavens who pushed for this war, reminding them at every turn what the pre-invasion realists were saying.

He minces no words with his indictments.

Wish I were able to cast a vote for this man.

He's a William Jennings Bryan of the age.

Nominated and Kicked.

7. "William Jennings Bryant for his age"
Yes. Exactly. We need him over here to teach us how to use our voiced in his manner. More George. More often. He will be a giant among men in nothing flat.

6. Can we write a letter to Mr. Galloway
and suggest that we begin a joint US/UK anti-war, anti-Bush/Blair campaign. Our reason for asking him to help us would be that our Democratic leaders lack what some might call a backbone, or balls, or cojones, or more simply put, GUTS. Actually, I'm just kidding about the campaign, but not about Mr. Galloway or the Democrats.
