We just saw the movie "Crash"
I think it's remarkable.

I don't even hate Matt Dillon any more.

It was so much more than I expected.

Stunning.

3. Wow. Well, I'm no Gene Siskel, but I didn't care for it.
It seemed really comic book to me. The characters all seemed cardboard cutouts.

But what do I know? It's getting like 80 bazillion perfect votes on IMDB.

I did like Ludacris' performance. He did a fine job. Very funny.

4. Did you see "Magnolia"?
If so, did you like it?

It reminded me a lot of "Magnolia."

5. No, actually, but I've heard it did the "we're all connected" theme better
would you say that?

6. It did it differently
"Crash" was earthier, less esoteric, much less mystical.

That's not helpful, I know, but let me put it this way: "Crash" had snow falling, and "Magnolia" had frogs falling out of the sky.

I loved them both, but now I have to get out the "Magnolia" DVDs and see how it looks.

Both had remarkable soundtracks, too.
