No one wants to hook up with repugnantcans
<http://www.nytimes.com/2005/05/19/national/class/MARRIAGE-FINAL.html?ex=1117166400&en=30a78c156d36721a&ei=5070>

This article is talking about couplings from different economic strata. Interesting to read, "And Mr. Croteau and Ms. Woolner hit it off so well that she later sent him a note, suggesting that if he was not involved with someone, not a Republican and not an alien life form, maybe they could meet for coffee." If it's a choice between a repugnantcan or an alien life form, I'm going for the latter.

1. Can't even imagine how bad it must be to be married to a repuke.
So selfish, so self righteous, such a pain in the arse

3. You know what's funny?
When I met my husband, I was only 19 years old. A natural liberal but NOT very political.

Well, I know if he had started spouting off right-wing views, even THEN, I would not have dated him again. Period. Despite how apolitical I was at the time. It's a matter of the values a person holds. And I was only going to marry someone who shared my values.

And the funny thing was, he was apolitical, too. His parents, repukes, have accused me (and played it off as a joke, of course) of turning him into a liberal. I laughed and said "God, he was more liberal than *I* was when I met him!"

But they shouldn't be surprised--his mother RAISED him that way! She just changed later.
