On edit: he's the political that led the protests against the US with respect to desecration of the Quran!!!!

1. I only saw part of it
From what I saw, he seemed like a moderate (clean shaven, blow-dried haircut) who was essentially in the 'Western' camp. I think he wanted the Bush administration to investigate the charges (and come up with another scapegoat) to appease the more right wing elements of the Muslim world (he basically said as much).

Anyone know if he's in opposition to Musharraf, or supports him?

2. I can't believe I caught it!!! He is a moderate!!!!
He explained that the Newsweek article was NOT NOT NOT the smoking gun that led to the protests,...but rather, merely a spark.

I can't believe CNN actually did that!!! I mean, that was way not cool for the neoCON regime!!!
