The Democrats in Congress will not know what to do with this hot potato. The media are too invested in buying the Judy Miller/Norm Coleman line on the oil-for-food scandal. Enjoy Galloway for what he is: another ephemeral truth teller popping up every now and again, like a tiny oasis in the great Bushian desert of despair to keep us alive through the next dry patch. But don't expect Galloway to be a savior. Only we can save ourselves.

7. While I agree that Galloway will probably not

derail the bushie train I think we have taken a big step in waking people up. First they lead us into war with lies, then give the rich a tax cut they do not need, then attack social security, then they weaken environmental laws, and then this. Each little ripple in the pond works to create movement on the shores of reality. Each of these events, and others like them, hit the target with a few more people each time. Soon everyone will begin to doubt and then they will look for the truth. That will be the end for bushie and his crowd.
