The dam has all but busted.......
I was just looking at some different posts about covering this or that and complaints about why some things are not being covered. I am now overwhelmed. It is like I am standing in front of the dam and a small leak happens and I put my finger in the place where the memos were released. I am focusing on this and trying to gather information to spread it around.

Then there is a leak over there! Oops, the Koran was flushed down a toilet. OK, I am gathering information on that and there goes another finger on my other hand.

But wait! Another leak springs up. Newsweek has retracted PART of their story. I need to make sure I get all my ducks in a row so I can counteract any disinformation passed on by the corporate media. See, it was a partial retraction and it was a non-apology apology but the article was still right. There goes on of my feet!

What was that? Another new item about how the repugs are going to phrase the item formerly known as 'the nuclear option'? Let me get my other foot over there to cover that leak!

Well, you get the picture, I am feeling myself spread pretty think with all this BS the regime has us dealing with. But the interesting part is why am I feeling so think spread. I guess it can be summed up because of the ignorance of the people on the right.

This government is dirty. It is so dirty that if they stayed in a bath for a year they would still not be completely clean. All the soap in the world will not clean up this admin. There are so many stories that at least one has to hit a note with these people. The Titanic is going down and these people are waltzing to the music of the band. If they don't try to save the country for themselves, they could at least do it for their children and grandchildren.

Not only was the decision to vote for this moran stupid, but it is now one that has put us all on very dangerous ground. I am tired of trying to preach to these people and trying to get the word out while they stick their fingers in their ears and sing 'la, la, la'.

I am tired of throwing these folks life preservers time after time and they keep stating that if God wants to save them then he will send them a sign. THIS IS THE SIGN, PEOPLE! I keep doing it for myself and my children but these people are dense as anything. 50% of the country is fighting for the rights of 100% of the country.

These people have got to open their eyes. You can call him Christian. You can say he believes in God. You can say we are safer. A rose by any other name is still a rose..... a raving homicidal maniac ruining your country is still a raving maniac no matter what YOU call him. You can't change what he is by changing his name. THIS IS A WAKE UP CALL.....OPEN YOUR EYES!

1. Then it may not suprise you
that nearly everyone on DU feels the same way.

The rest either haven't been here very long, or they're trolls.

2. Dr, I understand. I have been here long enough to know.
This rant was more directed at those who are not patriotic enough to open their eyes and fix the mistake they made by electing this thug. New DUers came here to hopefully learn and perhaps freepers may think about it a little more if they read this. I just had to vent. They hate us so much when we are trying to rescue them. It is kind of like when you climb a tree to rescue that cute little kitty who turns around and scratches the heck out of your face!

We are fighting to save us as well as these people and they are fighting us when they should be joining us. It is truly incredible. I have never seen so many people hell bent on their own destruction.

3. Journalists Who Grasp Professionalism As A Concept Are Fed Up
Remember how Kerry won a majority of votes in Maryland and 90%+ in the District Of Columbia? A lot of those voters work for the press! They are sick to death of KKKarl and his echo chamber. However, with the Congress loosening media consolidation rules even further, there was only so much they could do. Now that the shrub's second term is coming into full force and they are seeing their own retirement plans and Social Security benefits go up in smoke, they are asking themselves, "Why am I playing by their lopsided rules? I'll start reporting the whole truth again!"

KKKarl still has a stranglehold but he can't control everything. The Republican leadership in both houses of Congress has overstretched and the defections are leading to further cracks. The dike hasn't burst yet but the boy in clogs may tread water soon.
