Why the fuck is nobody in the media talking about the Koran riots/upheaval
You'd think a story as important as this would not be buried in the newspaper, so that non newspaper reading people overwhelmingly don't know about it.

Yeah I know that's the usual case but this story is REALLY important.

1. It must somehow not be in tune with the agenda of the aristocrats who now
own our major media outlets.

2. Having given-up on the Tube-News, I subscribed to my local paper
And low and behold this week, suddenly out of no where they're front page is covered w/kiss-up crap about the Shrub!

Buried way in the back, on page 16 was some half-way good pointers. Half-way wasn't good enough for me.

The Internet, and magazines like http://www.motherjones.com as well as others out here are our only hope.

3. Doesn't really cast a positive light on the US in their quest to
spread "freedom and democracy" does it? They wouldn't touch that one with a ten foot pole.

4. Because they conflict with the prewritten script, you damn fool!!!!
The script SAYS that the "freedom loving peoples" will be cheerful, industrious, and most importantly, GRATEFUL, for the interference, oops, intervention of the Democracy-spreading "coalition" forces.

Look, if you just stop THINKING, pay attention to the script, and follow along like a good Nazi, errr, citizen (hell, they both have Z's in 'em, easy to be confused) you will be JUUUUUUUUUST FINE. Go with the flow, relax, enjoy, obey...don't question, it will just bother your innocent little head. Go along, get along....and God Bless Murica, dolgarn it!

5. I think it's because as the "messengers"

6. Because most of the media is as stupid as the Pentagon.

Read Juan Cole from Thursday's blog. Pentagon sent information to Southeast Asia, thought it said a Korean was flushed down the toilet. No kidding.

http://juancole.com/

on edit. It was Friday's blog

A friend of mine with Pentagon contacts tells a tragicomic story. The Pakistani government complained to the US Department of Defense about the desecration of the Koran. The Pentagon passed the protest to the Southeast Asia division. It looked into the matter in East Asia and responded that it could find no evidence that the US military had flushed a KOREAN down the toilet.
