  1. Connecticut: -7133
  2. Kentucky: -5324
  3. Alaska: -4277
  4. District of Columbia: -3934
  5. South Dakota: -3287



States with the biggest netgain: Civilian Only

  1. Maryland: +9012
  2. Indiana: +2641
  3. Alabama: +2018
  4. Kentucky: +1482
  5. Washington: +1263



States with the biggest netloss: Civilian Only

  1. Virginia: -8843 (that's Walter Reed)
  2. Maine: -4139
  3. New Jersey: -3713
  4. Texas: -3175
  5. District of Columbia: -2916



States with the biggest netgain: Military & Civilian

  1. Maryland: +7442 (Big boost at Aberdeen Proving Ground
  2. Georgia: +6706
  3. Texas: +6663

  1. District of Columbia: -6850 (not like any senators or representatives have to worry about their jobs here)
