Is Trent Lott a closet Democrat?

First he highlights the moral depravity of his party by eulogizing Strom Thurmond and the "good ol' days" (before all this silly civil rights nonsense took a'holt), then...

he invents the term "nuclear option", which when used as a search term at GOP.com consistently yields, "The term you entered was not found". That's cause Senator Hatch has now rechristened it the "Constitutional Option", in honor of the Founding Fathers, blah blah blah, and the GOP is scrambling like mad trying to pretend they never heard the term...

Once nuclear, always nuclear, in my book (if they like, we can say nukular) :evilgrin:

about ti last night.. He tried to say it was a Dem term, What he would call it was the "Constitutional Option" then. I think it was Hardball Monday night.. but I'm not sure.

So many pundits are tying this nuclear option thing to Frists presidental ambitions, and you know Lott would savor the chance the harm politically the man who took his job.
