Every Wed. Norquist Has RW Media Propaganda Meeting in His Boardroom

I knew it was bad but not this bad. I am in the middle of a Vanity Fair article by RFK Jr. It is a new forward in his book, Crimes Against Nature..

The article is the scariest most depressing news about the RW Media machine in America I have ever read. He interviews David Brock who in his book, The Republican Noise Machine, talks of this shadowy group of participants in the RW news media lead by....... GROVER NORQUIST!
I have not read Brock's book yet so this may not be news to those that have. But omg... :wow: This is quite stunning to me.

Essentially, you need an organization that can pay people professional salaries so they can commit the long hours needed to make a difference.

Coordinating "cats" is a timely and exhausting effort.

19. I'm Really On-Board With The Idea

However, I am a planner by training and I know what it really takes to get the job done.

Let's say all you want to do is coordinate with a limited amount of message input and dissemination:

- One professional spokesperson - minimum 100K per year
- One staff to support the spokesperson - minimum 30K per year
- One researcher to keep track of the odds and ends - minimum 40K per year
- One IT person to keep the website up and running and other tech details - minimum 60K per year

Let's see that's 230K just in salaries alone.

We have not started with office space and transportation.

It adds up quickly.

I would suggest perhaps that is where the Left should concentrate its efforts as a start. I know how left out I feel as a Liberal Catholic in the south, and I have a lot of friends feeling the same way. I wonder if a movement directed at the liberals and moderates of the Christian communities would raise awareness.

We scream bloody murder to everyone who will listen..about paper ballots that can be recounted to assure that the correct people get into office.

As long as the crew in office now, STAY there, there will be NO REFORM..EVER.. They have spent 35+ years getting to this point. They will NEVER give it up.


If the reform-minded dems get back into office, and manage to avoid the slings and arrows long enough, media reform CAN happen...and real voting reform CAN happen.

as long as we are a minority, and are subject to constant attack by the RW media, we will continue the slide downward.. It's inevitable.

Look at the Hillary news of today. They are desperately trying to tie her to a trial of someone who "may" have made contributions to her...a few years ago...yet there is NOTHING about the REAL scandals of the *² regime..
