5. Yeah, .Randi is worth the wait...I can't stand Ed Schultz...
Ed Schultz is a moderate joke...hardly a liberal.

Randi is great and she can't be touched in any time slot.

7. Ed Schultz is far more to the right than I am - BUT.....
so are a lot of people who will vote Democratic if they feel that someone is speaking to them. So good for both of them.

8. 78 year old Selma (somebody)
Edited on Fri May-06-05 02:41 PM by dweller
he's interviewing her now. She's giving some great detail about the pastor Chan Chandler telling members who to vote for as of last election cycle. It's been going on for 6 months or so.
Preacher is still pushing politics after the election.

she's sounds very intelligent and credible.

has no children of her own, Ed asked her to be his mom for mother's day. :)

dp

edit: they have a lawyer and are trying to get the preacherman removed...plus there are tapes of the services

Tapes of the services?
:bounce:

Either bye-bye preacher, or bye-bye tax-exempt status.

9. This woman who's talking now
this older woman, is just breaking my heart. You can tell how committed she is and how this pastor's politicization of her religion hurts her.

10. Woman says parishoners have a lawyer
and are going to try to terminate him. Says there are tapes of his sermons and what he says.

She says she wants her church back and it's a very nice church. Awww.

17. I feel the same way
It is utterly amazing to me how in every way our nation has been dimished in 41/2 years.

2006 and 2008 can't come too soon

18. Yes. This is the result of 4.5 years of a religious zealot in the White
House. I'm outraged, but not surprised.

12. Anyone else catch Selma talking about the people Chandler was bringing
into the church? She said he was forcing out the oldtimers and bringing in a group he could "work with".

14. Yeah this Pastor seems like a real fucking prize
I loved when she said it looked like this would end up in court. And after that, Pastor Chandler might have to pay some back taxes for his political activities in that church, too.

getting rid of the older church members.

Also, Ed asked who could control Rev Chandler. Selma said that is the responsibility of the Deacons, but that they were having a hard time with him (whatever that means).
