Amazing how fast the right wing turned on the 'runaway bride'
At first she was a white damsel in distress. A poster girl for their fear-mongering about crime, about how there's a kidnapper or murderer lurking behind every tree, every bush. She was easy to use then, she fit right in to their agenda. And then of course her fiancee was on the TV talking about God and heaven with that preacher. Just good white Southern god fearin' rethugs victimized by our out of control society. Oh boo hoo!!!!

They turned on her quick though. A woman is never, ever supposed to go against the wishes of her rich, fat, well-fed, southern, god fearing husband to be. How dare she! That evil wench! Charge her!

I guarantee you if it was the man who got the cold feet they'd all be trying to make a joke about it.

Another thing: her family seems very 'cultish' to me. There's something not right with them. That's my intuition. I don't blame her for trying to get as far away from them as possible.

I know, I know, there's more important stories. But I just think it's fascinating to watch how quickly the right wing can turn on their 'allies'. They're users, pure and simple.

4. The couple says that, even though they lived together, they
were still "chaste" and planned to wait until marriage.

So, in ever-loving snarky fashion, Keith Olbermann asked the marriage counselor guest if the fact that there was no sex could have been the problem! I howled with laughter!

5. Oh man
The family is definetaly one of those 'holier than thou' families. Quite frankly, it was kinda cool to see them get a come-uppance on a national level.

7. I didnt realize that it was a partisian issue
I felt sorry for her and her family myself until I learned what she did.

I have no ideal what her politics are, but shes a nitwit who should be criminally punished.
