If one wants to focus on products NOT made in China, is there a list of companies that don't have factories and such in China in case one wants to focus on American or European-made products?

2. Something bothers me about buyblue.com
Why is Overstock.com given a 93% rating? Isn't this the company responsible for the the distribution of Farenhype 9/11? So a company makes a few minor contributions to the Democrat's and all is well? Sorry, not really a response to the original question, but the post reminded me of this rather obvious failing.

5. Why would you want to do that ?
China is one of our largest investors in terms of buying $$$ and ultimately helping us make payments on our debt interest. They are already taking on the chin due to falling valuations of the $$$ against most other currencies. To further hurt them by not buying their products will only hurt us.

6. I'm really asking for a buddy of mine
He just doesn't want to buy anything Chinese. He says it's just supporting sweatshops and ignoring China's human rights violations. That, and they were the largest component of our trade deficit with WalMart being about $15 billion of that.

7. What! You want us to be part of the great capitalist
conspiracy against organized labor. I point you to the following thread and quote:

<snip>

Cold war strategies are still continuing under the guise of “globalisation” as advocated by the World Bank and the IMF, to destroy countries that are committed to build a social alternative. A major aspect of this strategy is the continued offensive at the ILO and other international forums against such countries as China, Cuba, Syria, the DPRK, Venezuela, Belarus and others that refuse to accept the hegemony, economic and social policies advocated by the World Bank and IMF from their headquarters in Washington.
