2. I'm sure there are plenty of DUers who would like to express
their appreciation of the pResident and the fine (not) work he's doing. It's hard work, you know.

I've nominated this for the greatest page so more people will see it.

I don't know who those people are who think he is doing well "overall," or who can be satisfied with his press conference.

26. Exactly. When I first saw it at first I thought the numbers had been
accidentally reversed. But then I saw that they were consistent for both questions, and I realized that it really was what it seemed.

I do think people are beginning to wake up.

And did you see this thread? CSPAN is actually going to show a lecture telling the truth about 9/11 and raising the possibility OUT LOUD that it may have been MIHOP:

29. They're subject to a lot of errors,
besides systematic "freeping". But such a convincing margin of disapproval, and with such a large sample. Also, AOL is is considered "middle of the road" at best. Frankly, I'm heartened by that poll, and I don't feel that I'm clutching at straws.

31. don't look at polls
once again bush* stated that he doesn't look at polls...

sorry - but polls are an informal "vote" -- polls are a way to gauge public opinion and highlight the general mood.

To say "I don't look at pools" or "I don't pay attention to polls" is the same thing as saying "Who cares what the people think".

the people think his social security scam stinks -- bush* says "who cares what people think"

the people think Iraq is a mistake -- bush* says "who cares what people think"

the people think the economy sucks -- bush* says "who cares what people think"

the people think the energy policy is crappola -- bush* says "who cares what people think"

the people think bush* is beholden to financial institutions, energy companies, insurance companies and other corporations -- bush* says "who cares what people think"

I think people are wising up to this attitude and should I ever have the opportunity to express this directly to bush* I'm sure his answer would be "Who cares what you think"

33. Bush doesn't look at polls
because he can't friggin' read. That's what he hired Karl Rove to do. Besides Karl Rove admitted that he does his own polling, which is a violation of the Hatch Act. But when did the rule of law ever matter to those two?

.... internet polls don't have the same meaning as a real scientifically executed poll, but they mean something.

I think Bush** is rapidly losing everyone except the 30% idiot-contingent (people who would still support him if there was video of him robbing a bank) and I also think that credibility lost is almost impossible to regain.

I think Bush** has a long 3 years ahead of him.

To those who support the Bush policies, when your viewpoint is shared by less than one third of the rest of the country, shouldn't you re-examine why you stand for it? You could be one of the few who sees clearly, but that is not likely, you are more likely one of the few who follows blindly, even if it hurts you. Think about it.
