1. Andrea Mitchell
a.k.a. Mrs. Greenspan. Who's corner do you think she's in?

4. This is how they control the mind of the sheeple.
It's amazing how the MSM just spins for Bush and this administration.

16. Remember President Cheney
inherited tremendous asbestos liabilities with Halliburton. We can have him having to compensate the victims wit his "hard earned" money.

7. actually that's a very defensive statement

it's great when you're accused of something shameful, then ooh, what a guy, he's being so honest!

but when you're just talking about your social security plan, being honest should be just a very basic assumption. the fact that the banana republican talking point is that he's "honest" means
(a) they feel the need to work on the perception that he's lying and
(b) he's lying.

8. I'd rather be completely ignorant....
than woefully mis-informed by the corporate media cheerleaders. If you want entertainment... watch a movie. If you want facts...read the foreign press.

9. they did not!!! This is exactly why I can't allow myself to watch
them. I can barely handle what they say 'second-hand' let alone try to watch. I appreciate those who are calm and in control of themselves (apparently much more than me) enough to be able to pass info on to others who are simply not strong enough to endure their spin.

11. Maybe the fact that many people can't stand to actually LISTEN to him
works in the blivet**'s favor, I'm thinking now. They can mute the sound or turn off the TV during his speech and just listen to the pundits afterward to find out what they missed. Since the pundits are likely, like Tweety and the others, to be praising him and calling himi brilliant, he wins.

And here I always thought his slurred, mistake-ridden speech and nauseating facial tics were INVOLUNTARY! ;)
