1. My women's history teacher was quoting Barnes once...
...And after she said his name, she paused and said, "He's an idiot."

The class at my conservative little school howled at that. :D

12. Was Barnes likely to say anything else?
Face it: If Bush had thrown up, Barnes would praise the size of the chunks. Er, sorry.

But this is why I don't watch Bush or the infotainment channels. Bush will come out and commit the gravest possible offenses against the English language, the rules of public speaking, logic, and truth. The media then spends the next two or three days discussing Bush's "brilliance." That is too much to take for someone living in the reality-based community.

13. Fortunately, no one gets their news from Faux

Fox has become a 24-hour emotional support hotline for lonely, middle-aged white men looking for constant reassurance that the greed, hatred, and bigotry they feel everyday is actually an acceptable, mainstream political ideology.

15. Why only men?
Hey, wait a minute. How about those lonely, middle aged women who look at * with lust in their hearts. They've got lives too, don't ya know.}(

18. So true
The unexpected result of the communication revolution, specifically the internet and ideological news, is that it provides the one key ingredient to pathological greed, bigotry and hatred masquerading as ideology: the sense of emotional self-righteousness provided by the safety-in-numbers of like-minded sociopaths.

16. There's always a few in the bunker until the bitter end
Barnes, however, only thinks he will be granted Bunker access.

Amazing- we can hear the Russians and we still have to wait another year for them. They only hear their leader's voice.
