A Transcript of Bush's press conference
Will DU have a transcript of Bush's press conference when its over, I am so interested in the wimpy questions the media will ask and where we actually are in terms of having no media at all.

1. I too would be interested in this...
It would be enlightening to see how the truth pans out wouldn't it.

2. If you ever go to the whitehouse.gov for any transcripts . . .
.
If you ever go to the whitehouse.gov for any transcripts . . . know that those transcripts are laundered to favor George W. Bush. Typically, his Bushisms and other crap-ups are redacted/changed.

3. More importantly...
are the Dems going to issue a response? Or will they even be given air-time to do so? They need to smack him down, with a real energy policy, as opposed to the drivel the chimp spewed yesterday, and they need to point out how the rethugs voted down the ability for small businesses to join together to reduce rates. That monkey is hurting in the polls, and now is the time for our party to unleash a wave of populist fervor and intelligent ideas about getting our country back on the tracks.

5. You inspire an idea
I envision an area of DU that is designed to share the screen with the
c-span feed. That we can watch the video of people talking, and read
at the same time, the comments of posters.

Perhaps expanded to cover any news feed, the DU commentary would get
the truth out in real-time, AND provide a much more interesting
perspective, as the lies would be exposed right as they came out of the
mouths.

There would be no need to license cspan particularly, just to provide
the "DU frame" on the computer screen. It could expand LBN as a sort
of tele-LBN, and i'm dead sure it would be a hit... probably a little
more complex technologically, but not beyond possible.

6. What a cool idea
That would be the only way I could watch an entire chimp speech. People calling him on his bullshit in real time would be a hoot. You should drop that idea in the suggestion box.
