Is the C.I.A. becoming the patsy?
It is really interesting to see Bush & Co. pushing the C.I.A. and George Tenet out in front to take the bullet for all of the "intelligence failures" that led to the War in Iraq.

From my understanding, the role of the C.I.A. (in a perfect world) is to gather information and provide it as unbiased fashion for the Executive Branch (a.k.a. "Bring 'Em On Bush") and Congress to use in order to make informed decisions.

If the powers-that-be are saying the C.I.A. (why don't they throw the N.S.A. and F.B.I. in the mix?) is not up to the job, what is their alternative? Will the C.I.A. fight back to defend their agency?

Inquiring minds want to know!

2. The Bush adminsitration (sic)
has used the CIA as a doormat and a whipping boy their whole criminal stint in the white house.
And while they realize that the CIA is not a lock-step organization, they do not realize how many ways they have to get payback.

It is Niger, the WMD, the 45minutes, and the supposed Iraqi-AlQaeda connection lies that will bring this already wounded administration down.
They are already sliding down the same slide that Bush the elder did. And I predict that the weeks before election 2004 are going to be extremely interesting.
