MSNBC just had a photo of Clark and Hillary (like a Campaign Photo) as I
was surfing by looking for Hurricane info. I stopped because I thought the photo looked like Clark had chosen Hillary as his VP or something and I almost spilled my coffee.

The red haired guy had Joe Conason and Tom Squiglieri (used to hang out with Geraldo) on as commentators on "Is Clark running so he can lose and Hillary can get in the race?" The logic of that seemed to surprise both of the commentators, so then it became that Clark would hurt Kerry, and that if no Dem is able to pull ahead of the pack then Hillary will be brought in because she has tremendous name recognition. Conason pretty much said "No" to that scenario.....but agreed that Clark would hurt Kerry because of the Military thing.

The discussion was really silly, but here's what bothered me: There's this picture looking like campaign photo which made me stop and tune in because it looked like Clark/Hillary campaing shot. So, MSNBC is trying to put a subliminal message in my mind by connecting the two......when the discussion wasn't about that at all. So, what about this? A media Psy-Ops plan to push a Clark/Hillary ticket? Oh, they would love that.........or was it a way of trashing Clark by putting him with Hillary as if he was the Clinton's choice.

Something was afoot on MSNBC this morning with that photo and bogus discussion. Conasan said Hillary isn't running, but Squigiliari said the Clintons were behind Clark. Conason said that some of Clinton's people are working for Clark but that didn't mean they had put Clark up to running.

Still, that photo of Clark/Hillary is sticking in my mind. What do you think? Psy-Ops? Subliminal Message?

MSNBC up to more no good dirty tricks?

1. Apparently it worked!
Seriously, I wouldn't put it past them.

No denying the power of the Clintons, but the press is going to pile on Clark if he becomes "the Clinton candidate." Ah, what am I saying, they are going to pile on him anyway!

2. Clark/Hillary would be great - but he needs nomination, and she
needs him to ask.

Not great odds on both happening - even if she wants it to.

So I'd guess MSNBC is just trying get contraversal - stir up some buzz, and steal a few Fox viewers.

Those Fox viewers who do a 24/7/365 Hillary is coming, donate to the GOP at the drop of her name, so she helps with the BOSS (the GOP) and with the ratings!

:-)

5. The NeoCons desperately want Clark to make Hillary his running mate
If you partook in any of the right-wing media yesterday, or read Freak Republic, they are drooling and praying for this to happen.

Any mention of Clark gets an added mention of Gore and the Clintons. This gives the NeoCons hard-ons!

Words cannot describe how desperate these clowns for this to happen. Obviously because they don't have very much ammo to go after Clark on his own merits.

I'm going to love this election! Heh heh!

6. These media whores remind me of
Mrs. Olsen from "Little House on the Prairie." There was an episode where she ran the local paper....Gossip and damaging assumptions, manlipulation of information....

Same thing here..... They aim to control the *bush agenda.

9. State campaign chair is a ceremonial position
Senators and Congresspeople are often state chairs for candidates. It's a symbolic thing mostly. BTW, Hillary will not be VP, and Clark is not running to lose.

11. If they continue mention Clinton/Gore
and the economy is still so troubled, then it will make him more appealing because people will think he has the economic policies without the baggage.
