Action you can take on the Darfur Crisis
Got this in the mail from Refugees Internationl, and think it is a great idea!

"Despite assertions by the government of Sudan that peace is returning to Darfu, violence against civilians continues. The government's failure to acknowledge the causes and consequences of the extensive death and displacement is a major impediment to ending the violence. This is why we are urging Secretary Rice to go to Sudan as soon as possible and put pressure on the government to stop the killing."

They have a lovely letter all written up with a link to the State Department, or you can make up your own. Here's the link:

I urge anyone interested in refugee issues to check out this site. It is a small organization, beholden to no government, and their only constituents are refugees. They are often the first to go into a crisis area and the last to leave, and they aren't afraid to tell it like it is. They operate on a shoestring-if you have a buck or two to spare, they are very grateful(know this from personal experience).
