Ex-fundy / Ex-Republican Night?

I just sent this suggestion to Kathy Bay Malloy, the producer of the Mike Malloy Show and wife of Mike Malloy:

Hi Kathy,

I really love the idea of having a Freeper Night (AKA Flying-Monkey Red-Ass Night). I can hardly wait! I probably couldn't stand this more than once a month, though. :D

I have an idea. Maybe you could have an "Ex-Fundamentalist / Ex-Republican Night" at some point. There are a lot of us out here, struggling to make sense of our anger. Making my journey out of fundamentalist Christianity and Republican politics was a nightmare and I'm still struggling to heal.

I'm worried about letting my anger get out of control, yet I feel anger can be channeled into positive action. Mike seems pretty angry to me, but he's putting the energy of his anger into exposing the evil people who are currently running (ruining) this country. I am worried, however, that anger could hurt me (or Mike, for that matter) if we let it get out of control. When does anger become hatred? Is hatred inherently wrong or can it be channeled, like anger, into something positive? Because I want to do the right thing, I worry a lot about these issues.
