3. I was thinking about it the other day...
black plums are blue-ish on the outside and sort of red inside. If someone has a better image or analogy, please do chime in, we need some ideas.

5. The problem with that analogy is that whores who are paid are
prostitutes. Both actually supply a service to the public (some of the public) which I think is worth more than what these clowns in Washington are giving us. Actually a screw job is probably a screw job, but if you don't want it you shouldn't have to take it like all the public getting screwed by Washington. So let's find something else besides whores and prostitutes. Most of these are men, so let's stop demeaning women who are trying to make a living or just enjoying themselves.

The bad thing about repubs is it looks like these guys are going to give gay men a bad name when this is all over. And I hate comparing them to animals because that's an insult to animals.

There has to be an inanimate object we can call these guys that is sufficiently insulting to them and not to the object.

6. Just call them "old maids in pants" which is what
DLC Democrats have always looked like to me.

7. How about "Bruised" Democrats?
Bruises always take on that sickly purple color, eventually.

8. bruised.. no, color is black on many
as to plums,

many will think of dates or prunes, which are more commonly eaten,
And which are both semi dry plums, i think.

and which are black out and in.

we need another image.
