Will Rove look for a March recall patsy?

Trying to think like His High Satanic Reverence for a second....

• Rove knows that B*sh needs CA in '04.
  
• B*sh only gets CA if the governorship falls into (R) talons hands.
  
• If the recall is postponed, the governorship is safely (D)--the primary contest will guarantee a significant Democratic turnout, while B*sh supporters won't need to show up at the polls.
  

What are the odds that Rove recruits a (R) patsy to "run" against B*sh, just through March, to get the Republicans to the polls for the recall election, to get Arnold (or HA! McClintock) to Sacramento, to make the Florida-like theft of California in 2004 possible?

A little tinfoil, I know, but they need California and will stop at nothing.

At any rate, if there is a (R) challenger to B*sh, we'll need to sniff him out. See if we can't find that lingering Rove-stench.
