Pride comes before a fall

So the Majority Leader has been told by many to resign. He won't, he is too proud. Tom Delay has forgotten to read the Bible he loves to trump so much...

I am willing to help. Tom you will find this in there if you know where to look:

"Pride comes before a fall, and arrogance precedes failure" (Proverbs 16:18)

Now that you know what to look for, let's be clear here. Tom you are going down. This is of your own making. But in your fall you have done an incredible service to the ever so sleepy American People. You have proven what a radical you are. For that service we may have to nominate you for the medal of freedom. You have reminded Americans what the current Republican Party of Tyranny is all about.

For that Tom, we must thank you. Now keep on fight' but your fate has been sealed. You are going down in disgrace. You see, you may have told a cleaning lady that you were the government, but you are not the government. We, the people, are the government.

Go back to Sugarland and become the exterminator you once were. That job fits you. Personally I'd rather see you behind bars for your problems obeying the law, even Texas law, and that may still be in your future. Still you should remember this lesson Tom, your pride is going to bring you down.

1. DeLay is our best friend.

We need to milk him slowly, carefully, and visibly, making sure he becomes the public image of the Rethuglican Party. Keep him there long enough to perform this function, but not so long that he can figure out a way to dodge again, or so long that we exceed the public's attention span, which would let him dodge easily.
