Has anyone read Dylan's book?

I know I'm a few months behind but I finally bought it last week and am finishing it now.

The thing I've found most amazing is how far is image in the public - Protest singer, leader of the counter-culture - was from his own view of himself and the world. Great stuff.

And any biography that spends forty pages on the books he read in 1961 and, like, one paragraph on his first wife is worth reading.

I read it a couple of months ago

I was surprised at his image of himself
as far as I am concerned he is a poet in the same league as Ginsberg (HIGH praise)

2. I don't know

I love dylan, but have never found his words to read particularly well divorced from music. I would probably make the comparison to Lennon-McCarthy as one of the best song writers ever. Definatly in the top three, I'd say.
