George Bush: Why Do You Repeatedly Injure Your FACE?
Edited on Tue Apr-12-05 03:33 PM by Stephanie

Would somebody please ask him this question? The American people have a right to know. He has a new scrape on his face, as of yesterday. Why???

96. It's "Drinky Crow" by Tony Millionaire
An exceptionally talented illustrator who drinks with gusto; used to live in my nabe in NY. He draws a regular strip, I'm sure it's on-line somewhere.

Read the strip, the comparison with 'ole Drinky' gets even funnier.

Then again maybe they are exchanging torture tactics demonstrations! Obviously their boo-boos aren't viewable when he is showing them his tactics!

10. He also had a similar looking bruise on his palm
when he was in Europe a month or two ago. Sorry I don't have the link but it was posted and discussed here in DU.
Some of the above photos look like abrasions. The most recent one may not (not enough of a close up to tell for sure) and neither did the photo in Europe. The latter two may be the type of reddish looking skin alcoholics get.

16. Mars - Aries rules the head and face. Bush has his Mars
Edited on Tue Apr-12-05 03:54 PM by SpiralHawk
at 9 degrees Virgo in the second house. Aha, you are no doubt thinking to yourself right now: that means transiting Uranus is 180 degrees opposite Bush's natal Mars all this year. You are so right !

No wonder the cheerleader in chief is taking a facial bruising. But those head wounds (remember Massive Head Wound Harry from Saturday Night Live?) are but wee symbolic manifestations of a much larger process of bruising and shattering going on within Bush's unsteady and fragile yang psyche. Uranus (lightning, shaktipat, electrical current, shocks, reversals) opposing Mars (male, masculinity, yang, genitalia, aggression, iron, etc.).

Mars also rules Bush's Midheaven (the highest point in his chart is Aries0, so the transit of uranus to his natal mars also implies radical shifts and changes in his actions and status in the world. This would be visible stuff, just as the wounds on his face are visible (for those will the will to see, which obviously does not include the MSM, since they have repeatedly shown that they lack will and courage).

Uneasy rests the HEAD upon which the stolen crown sits.

17.  "You are old, father William," the young man said,

"And your hair has become very white;
And yet you incessantly stand on your head--
Do you think, at your age, it is right?"

"In my youth," father William replied to his son,
"I feared it might injure the brain;
But, now that I'm perfectly sure I have none,
Why, I do it again and again."

"You are old," said the youth, "as I mentioned before,
And you have grown most uncommonly fat;
Yet you turned a back-somersault in at the door--
Pray what is the reason for that?"

"In my youth," said the sage, as he shook his grey locks,
"I kept all my limbs very supple
By the use of this ointment - one shilling a box--
Allow me to sell you a couple?"

"You are old," said the youth, "and your jaws are too weak
For anything tougher than suet;
Yet you finished the goose, with the bones and the beak--
Pray, how did you manage to do it?"

"In my youth," said his father, "I took to the law,
And argued each case with my wife;
And the muscular strength, which it gave to my jaw,
Has lasted the rest of my life."

"You are old," said the youth, "one would hardly suppose
That your eye was as steady as ever;
Yet you balanced an eel on the end of your nose--
What made you so awfully clever?"

"I have answered three questions, and that is enough,"
Said his father. "Don't give yourself airs!
Do you think I can listen all day to such stuff?
Be off, or I'll kick you down stairs.

28. the redness around the cheeks and skin might indicate
alcoholism. an alcoholics skin is also prone to bruising and abrasion, which would make every little bump he takes to the face show.

but then again, he might just be spending a little too much time on the tower of power with jimmy-jeff.

73. Cirrhosis of the liver can make people bleed and bruise easily...
The liver synthesizes some clotting factors. A damaged or dieased liver results in the liver making less clotting factors. Considering Chimp's history, I'd say this was likely.

Dick: "I don't know Karl."

Staff members chuckle as Rove presses a button to buzz George.

Rove: "George! Get in here I need some more coffee!"

George: "But, Karl I'm busy playin' wack a terra-ist."

Rove: "Get in here now! Do you want me to take away your 'I'm the President' magic button again!?"

49. I noticed the abrasion on the left side of his face--during today's speech
Edited on Tue Apr-12-05 05:30 PM by TwoSparkles
When Junior gave his pep talk to the soldiers, you could clearly see a red patch on the left side of his face, high on his cheekbone.

It's interesting. These deep abrasions always show up on the same side of his face, in the same place.

Obviously, he's doing something repeatedly, to cause these abrasions to appear and reappear.

It's easy to dismiss this as nothing but a boo boo, but how many abrasions have I had on my face in the past 5 years? Oh, that's right. None. Something ain't right.

This happens to Junior every few months. Possibly it happens more, and more seriously--and they hide him until he heals--and we never know.

Interesting riddle. In what activity is Junior engaging--that he's scraping the left side of his face?

This latest one looks like another one waiting to happen. Or maybe he should call Vanessa Williams and get himself some of that proActive stuff!

55. People frequently touch their face when lying....
Bush is just ratcheting up the reflexive body language to match the level
of his lying by actually hurting his face repeatedly.

That's my amateur psychiatric analysis. :o

Sitting in a closet somewhere, there's a picture of him looking younger and younger! I've noticed several times recently that in some pictures from a few years ago, he was actually a fairly handsome guy. He really looks like shit now.

...that we write the two most influential media observers and ask them to urge the press corps to inquire?

(Not you, Howie, sit down.)

I'm thinking Dan Froomkin at The Washington Post and Joe S? over at Editor & Publisher magazine. They've been herding the press corps lately. I'm not putting the e-mail addresses here because if e-mails come through DU linkage they'll discount them as "organized" -- horrors!

WHY the fuck is it the Leader of the Free World can't walk around upright like the rest of us???? On his feet? My God, I've had some clumsy days in my time. Once a month, I bump into things, trip over shit, and have things stick to me like Post-Its.

But I have never retained a scab from such encounters.
Which makes me- and you- better than George Bush.

He's a dry drunk with deep-rooted feelings of inadequacy. Self-inflicted injuries among people with his particular illness are a cry for attention. After all, what must it be like to be the President of the United States, and yet still have to ask Karl Rove's permission to take a shit?

83. The most recent one, others recently, and the 2000-one could be Lesions.
The others appear to be his biking accidents, pretzel incident...and other 'accidents' most likely arising from his unusually low heart beat/blood pressure.

Or he could be "sedating" again...

Drunks often fall down and hurt themselves especially if they have been binging, I always thought he goes to the ranch so much because he is comfortable getting trashed there and knows there is very little risk of exposure.

87. I REALLY think the man is DRINKING
He is an alcoholic remember? I'm sure his aids keep him from being drunk in public.

Alcoholics relapse all the time. (I'm an alcoholic - sober for over 20 years.....since age 20 so you don't think I am old!)

I used to fall down while drunk all the time. I would wake up with bruises and not know where they came from. So have most of my alcoholic friends. When people come back from a relapse you very often see them looking all beaten up.

95. Hey!!! Get Friggin' Serious About This Question!!!
Seriously, how many of us have had that many injuries to our face over 5 years??? I haven't had any in over 15 years!!

I have friends into all kinds of more extreme sports and I have yet to see any of them injure themselves this much. I know of only one facial scrape out of this group in the last 8 years.

My guess is, he gets fucked up and goes for a ride so he doesn't have to talk with people who might guess hes not exactly sober.

Thats all I can figure.

101. It is actually a serious question and there's more to it than just
the facial injuries.

The only summation of a physical he had that is online (on the White House website) is from 2001, the first year he was in office.

THERE IS NO OTHER SUMMATION OF PHYSICAL FINDINGS FOR HIM ANYWHERE.

Nowhere. Oh they report his physicals now but that's it. No summation, like in 2001.

And in 2004, his physical was put off until December. Convenient, considering the election was nigh, eh?

He has a serious medical problem. That much is clear. And no one is asking about it. Whatever it is, it might be exacerbated and/or caused by substance abuse problems. And whatever it is is causing the left side of his face to go all droopy, it is causing him to injure his face repeatedly, and at least one of his meds is causing periodic bloating and swelling of his face.

Something is VERY wrong with him, no joke.

103. Yup. I'm not kidding, I really do want to know, and I have a right to know
George Bush works for me. If he is impaired then he should not have possession of the football. It's a serious question. What is wrong with him? And why does the press cover up for him? Is he drinking? If so then people must know, and I don't just mean Karen and Laura. If he is drinking then more people know than just his staff. If he is drinking then we have a right to know.

104. A'yep and more...
This is serious there is no doubt. I mean maybe he does have siezures, maybe extreme dry drunks, maybe something else as you stated that is exacerbated by drugs legal/illegal. Wonder if he had some sort of minor stroke, or got a bite of some poison as well.

Anyway you cut it they are without a doubt hiding something in regards to his health. Maybe the whole pretzel incident was a cover up for something else?

So many maybes so little time.

And hey, how the heck is my favorite Bouncy Ball?:hi:

105. "Something is VERY wrong with him" Truer words were never spoken.
What medical condition would require that six-pack on his back?
What medical condition would make him pass out repeatedly?
What medical condition would make him lose his balance?
What medical condition would make his face twitch uncontrollably?
What medical condition would make him blink and contort his face like he was having an orgasm...that he wasn't enjoying? Maybe those wires on his back were connected to his penis?
What medical condition would make him forget the English language?
What medical condition would make him act like a fool?

Answer.........NONE! That's just the way he is...a twitching, blinking, unbalanced, stuttering stupid puppit...whose strings are all fowled up! Hey Cheney...back to work!

I was thinking about it, reading the other replies and I haven't fallen down (much less on my face) since I quit drinking competitively and I've spent years in the building trades - was less banged up than he is.

But it can't be from drink - so it must be rug burn. Now, how's he get it on his face?
