How do we know that the iraqi's are actually grateful that we are there?
This is the latest round of BS/propaganda from the thief and Co. The majority of the Iraqi people are glad that we are there, We liberated them. My question is, How exactly do we know that the iraqi's really want us there?

Did Zogby do a poll of 1,000 registered iraqi voters? Are the troops out there asking Iraqi villagers in-between bouts of getting blown up?
How do we know that this is how they feel? There are no flower parades. Our people and their people are being massacred daily. And all of their basic necessities are few and far between.

Let's not forget how we shocked and awed them into the stone age, and killed thousands of innocent Iraqi people in what bush described in his televised Sunday speech as one of history's most humane operation.

We need to call these war criminals on their spew. Everytime they start spewing their BS, the right wing media needs to ask them how they have come to their whacked out conclusions, as they seem to bear no truth when compared to the reality. Yeah, i know, like that's going to happen.

1. how we can tell
They must love us beign there, they're firing off their weapons in a salute. Of course, they're firing them AT our troops, but I'm sure that's a minor detail to the chimp in chief.

2. Didn't Rummy commission several polls which showed overwhelming support
for the US presense in Iraq? I'm serious! I thought I heard that on CNN earlier this week! Figures..... They were probably done by Frank Luntz and Kelly Ann (whatever her new name is).

3. They're probably polling the Iraqis who line up to receive payment
for doing nothing.

4. They don't even have people that understand the language.
Since they fired them for being gay. So how did they conduct this poll?

7. Because they tell the journalists that..
of course they have lived in a closed society their entire lives where journalists were routinely intelligence agents and they are working under the assumption that the person they are talking to is CIA so you can pretty much throw whatever they say right out the window.

8. "Did Zogby do a poll of 1,000 registered iraqi voters?"
Not exactly, but they did survey 600 Iraqis chosen at random.

http://www.zogby.com/news/ReadNews.dbm?ID=734

Among the findings:

The survey reveals that 69.7% of Iraqis feel that their country will be better five years from now.

Other results you won't find on the web page (without paying) but that I heard on TV:

When asked to name one foreign country they would like Iraq to model its new government on, USA was number one.

Most also said the US should leave ASAP.
