My site made the ODP! Holy poop-on-a-stick with cheese! I'm thrilled!!!

The Open Directory Project (ODP) is a comprehensive human edited directory of the Web, compiled by a vast global community of volunteer editors. Only sites that provide unique content get posted.

The ODP powers core directory services for the most popular portals and search engines on the Web. (AOL Search, Netscape Search, Google, Lycos, DirectHit, and HotBot, and hundreds of others.)

In other words: When the big web-bots update their directories, my site will get extra weight when folks search for media literacy issues.

I'm thrilled! :D

Since traffic will probably start to increase, I'll have to speed up plans to switch from a frame-based site to a CMS.

Have I mentioned today how thrilled I am?
