Cheney: DeLay's threats inappropriate.
If you ask us, threatening federal judges is a lot worse than "inappropriate." But it's nice to see Vice President Cheney saying even that much about House Majority Leader Tom DeLay's promise that federal judges will "answer for their behavior" in the Terry Schiavo case.

Cheney's comments are a sign of the cracks that are forming in the GOP unity when it comes to Tom DeLay. With scandals piling up, DeLay needs all the support he can get. Looks like he may not have the White House behind him

1. Ah yes, repugs can't get away from Delay fast enough
and democrats don't want them to get away to far either. Best if Delay hangs around the repugs until midterm election. How long can we keep Delay in the picture is the question? Even Cheney knows swine when he smells something worse than his own.

2. It just talk.
They'll be content to let Delay continue to do the dirty work now until they absolutely have no choice but to use him as a scapegoat and to dump him unceremoniously into the dung heap from whence he came.

6. I hope they toss him aside.
Because Tom DeLay is crazy and self-righteous enough to take the whole GOP down with him.

Crazy bastard.

7. Pretty sad when Cheney is the voice of moderation!
The GOP's going to hell fast with Delay, Hastwerp and Frist at the controls.
