Can anyone help me out with a computer question??
One of my fellow employees needs a free download for a program similar to Microsoft Mappoint.
Basically, in accordance to a product we sell, we want to display a world map on our website to show where in the world people are buying our product. That being even just a simple modifiable map that we can put symbols on.
I'm having a tough time finding something helpful. I downloaded a program called MapMaker, but if someone knows of a more simple program, or fairly user-friendly program for someone who isn't well-read in map making and that is free (or at least a free trial), please help!
Thank you.
Peacefully,
c.

1. Have you ever seen Keyhole?
It may be a little too advanced for what your trying to do, but it definetely creates a more compelling presentation.

They have a 7-day free trial, but the full version is only $30/year.

4. i hear you
it's been very difficult to find!
i'm assuming it's because mappoint is a new program and probably not in high demand like so many programs you can get for free.

5. Go with Keyhole
Even if you only value your time at $1.00/hr, you will still come out ahead for the $30 price. The output will look totally professional, too.

6. Do you have access to a drawing program, like Adobe Illustrator?
If so, I may be able to help you. I have some world maps in vector format (points as opposed to pixels). If you can open them, as in Illustrator, you can add dots to show sales locations to your heart's content.

Also, let me know specifically what views you need. PM me.
