1. Yuck - it is a movie? That is too much. Read the book. Yup - he actually
strikes me as pretty passive for a sociopath. If he were not in control of so many lives by trashing the New Deal he would not be all that scary.
I've seen much spookier. Sometimes they are not in an arena like politics where you expect a certain amount of sleaziness - and they are more open. I knew one who was a social worker.
So gross. So scary - When they hide their character completely.
It made me think ot a press conference I once saw Newt Gingrich give. He was asked what would happen to poor children if Republicans simply cut off welfare payments to their parents, and the parents could not find work. He replied, "They can go to an ORPHANAGE!"
Practically everyone in the room knew that Gingrich himself had been raised as an orphan. And the way he said "ORPHANAGE" that day let everyone know there was something deeply and pitifully wrong with the guy.
6. People like him are just born that way. Sociopaths. They like to
see others diminished because they are covetous. All they do is win at games with people's lives. If they were not so much into the pain their actions caused, they would go up against nature more often than they do. White water rapids are not for a sociopath. Because White water cannot feel pain and thus reflect back the sociopath's glory in emotional agony. White water rapids just mind their own business.
We have to learn that these people are just who they are. They don't process emotion except as a math problem (look at the wrinkles on KR and BTK.. no emotional wrinkles as they age..just the little math thinking ones between the eyes). Creepy but we have to learn.
